SHORT DESCRIPTION: As an educator in the 21st century, I take into account the different learning styles of my students. The student's learning style is varied depending on what is being learnt. Thus, I have used a wide range of collaborative tools and web technologies to reinforce and enhance the learning of my students. I have been using ePals since 2005 as a safe collaborative technology to connect between my students and students from around the world. Our Global Projects aim at encouraging active, meaningful, and authentic learning as well as engaging learner-centered classroom where students from around the world share their outcomes on a variety of topics. The " Green Schools Project " is a communicative based project which, aims at creating greener and healthier learning environments through educational experience by collaborating between students from around the globe. Our goal is to promote a global awareness of ecological sustainability among students from around the world. "My Home Town Project" encourages students from around the world to share information about their cities as representing their culture.

A Massive Fire Is Raging In Israel -Ecological Disaster

A raging forest fire in northern Israel has so far claimed the lives of at least 41 people, displaced thousands of residents, and incinerated thousands of acres of land. The country's prime minister called the blaze "a disaster of international proportions" and requested assistance from the international community after admitting that Israel lacks the firefighting resources necessary to put out the inferno. On Friday, foreign firefighters and firefighting aircraft arrived in Israel from Greece and the UK and more were on their way from the US, Russia, Egypt, Cyprus, Jordan, Spain, Azerbaijan, Romania, and Turkey.
